So I've known that I've been tagged for almost a week now. I haven't read anyones blogs that have been tagged as they would "skew" me from coming up with my own odd facts about myself and I would most likely just be able to relate to that persons fact about themselves and then steal it for mine..etc etc. Sooo, after i post this...i WILL go and read all the blogs!! YippEE!

Strange Fun Fact #1

-I have an issue with starting laundry in the washer and walking away and not shutting the lid. I come back hours or the next day if i've put it in before bed and the lid is up and the washer is full..but it hasn't "ran". Ugh! Usually Troy is the lucky one to see it. I'll toss some things in and start it up and walk away and an hour or 2 later I hear the washer running and i ask Troy "What are you washing??" he laughs and says "I'm washing the clothes you put in and didn't put the lid down"! Why the heck can't the washer just "wash" with the lid open..geesh!

Strange Fun Fact #2

-I used to wake up and lay in bed and of course...not want to get up. So, I used to count to whatever my age was and THEN get up. Odd eh?!

-I really don't like talking on the phone...at all! I'm a girl that hates the phone! My old job was that I answered phones allll the time and dealt with upset people. Man..i'd go home and just not answer the phone. HA

-I love music (thats not the odd part). BUT I most likely couldn't tell you the name of the Artist/Band or what the name of the song is. I could just tell you "this is how it goes" or "it kinda sounds like this". HA! I always have to ask Troy. He is GREAT with knowing the Artist/Band

Strange Fun Fact #6

-I really really like to go shopping by myself. It's not that I don't like people (ha ha). I just like to be able to go and do as I please as fast or slow as I want! I'm soo darn selfish! I don't mind going with someone every now and then..but majority of the time by MYSELF! :)

-That it took me almost a whole week to come up with these. ha ha! I can't just "come up" with things very easily. I know i'm an odd/strange person..this I know but I had no idea what to put on here. So i just was mentally aware of things I've encountered this last week and noted them! haha..yes, I wrote/typed them down so i'd remember! haha

Thursday "Spooky" Ramblings

HAPPY FALL & HALLOWEEN

It's been incredibly tooooo long since my last post! Just shy of a month, I think? Not too awful much blog worthy "stuff".  I had a hair appt. yesterday and found out that my straightening iron is breaking the hair on the top of my head...thats always pleasant. I knew something wasn't right. I have these little hairs that seem to stick straight up every now and then. Usually i can "tame" them pretty well. I am purchasing a new straightening iron..a REALLY good one. My stylist, Brooke, (who is phenomenal) recommended getting one like she uses. I have actually always wanted a really nice one like hers. So, i'm "eBaying" to find it at a mucho discounted price. YAY for eBay! Seriously..that site has saved me $$. So anyway...i planned on getting some highlights put in again...well, we decided with the hair on top being brittle and kinda breaking easily that highlights would only make it weaker and more brittle. Sooo, we went with an all over color to help condition my hair. I went back to my "natural" color of Brown..not dark dark dark brown..just a medium brown. It's actually pretty cool. Going from almost being blond to being brown is quite the adjustment. I woke up and looked in the mirror this morning and was like WHOA, who is that! haha! So thats my new FALL thing. Darker hair. :)

My grandpa brought me a Halloween goody bag to work today! YESS!! I may be 25 years old..but never too old for grandma and grandpa to bring me candy. He was out delivering to us grandkids today! Soo cute! I was stoked! There are Reese's Cups, Milky Ways, 3 Musketeers, Kit Kats and Hershey Bars in the bag! YESSSS!! Every girl loves a little peanut butter and chocolate in her day. 

This past weekend, I went with my mother-in-law to babysit my nephew in Grand Rapids. Soo much fun. My sister-in-law turned 30 Saturday and they were going out to celebrate. So we got to take Austin (who is 14 mths) with us for the day. We went shopping, shopping and more shopping. He did awesome! We were gone for 6 hours and he didn't fuss AT ALL! We went to Chili's for dinner around 7. He was a hoot! He was being flirty with a girl at the table behind us. I hope that when I have a baby, he or she is half as good as him. 

This past Tuesday, I babysat my niece! Just her and me. It was sooooooo  much fun. It was the first time I actually babysat her. She is just adorable. She is 2 months now and a great baby. She only fusses when she is hungry or has a dirty diaper. Otherwise, she is very content. She has started to smile to! I would say "Aunt Brandi loves you SOOOO MUCH" and when I would say SOOO MUCH..she would smile soo big! ;) She knows her Auntie Brandi loves her!  I had her for 3 hours and it was absolutely a fantastic time. I was beaming from ear to ear to spend time with her being just her and me. Troy was hunting..he called and asked how it was going when he was done and just laughed and said that he was glad it was going great and that i was freaking out! haha! I was a bit nervous...being i hadn't watched such a newborn in a long time. But it went great!

Sooo, tomorrow is Halloween! I have my treat bags that i hand out about 90% done. I just need to add a few more pieces of candy and tie them up and i'll be ready. I love handing out candy to the kids. It is soooo much fun! I think my momma is coming over as she doesn't get any trick-or-treaters at her house since she lives in the country. I live in the country, but a sub-division in the country. :) I can't wait to see all the fun customes. HA..last year, this kid comes up and i go "Ohh, you're a Nascar driver...how cute!" Umm, Angie (she hung out for halloween with me) says "Bran..he's Ricky Bobby from 'Talledaga Nights'!" OHHHH..I was like..sorry kid. He just smiled and was shy and ran back to his mom! haha! I think we laughed about that all night and I still do to this day. Funny!

Volleyball starts back November 10th! WOO HOO! Too bad I'm outta town that day and will miss our FIRST game.  :( It'll be ok. I know it. It was nice to see some friends this week though. I seen the "volleyball gang" Monday night. I really haven't seen any of my friends for a few weeks. I miss them. I'm feeling a girls night coming soon..very soon!!

Well thats it..now that i've written a heck of a lot more than planned. I tend to "RAMBLE" on easily.  :) Have a great weekend! 

Hump Day Ramblings

So last night Troy and I were watching Dirty Jobs on the Discovery channel. (BTW..the show rocks) and they were goose hunting or something like that..a big swammpy area that they were catching goose, not for "hunting" purposes, but for real use i guess? IT's DIRTY  JOBS..not a hunting show..anyway, I say to him "I should text Tracy (his sister in MI) and tell her that if Ryan (her hubby) wants some tips on duck hunting..they should totally watch Dirty Jobs right now..he looks at me and laughs! haha! I was like.."hahaha, yes, I know I'm a hoot"..HA..nope, that isn't why he was laughing. I thought it was a funny/brilliant idea. He proceeds to tell me that there is a HUGE difference between ducks and geese. Huh?!?! Obviously..they are from the same "family" though. HA..he laughs EVEN HARDER!! haha. Now, i'm starting to feel defensive and start to pull things from you know where. I respond with (ha..i'm soo laughing soo hard right now) "they are just like a Pony is to a horse" HHHAAAA HAAAA! He starts to laugh uncontrollably at this point as I keep a dead serious look on my face! ha. Sooo, long story short. I DO know that a goose and a duck ARE different...but I still think they are INCREDIBLY similar. I hope you all had a good laugh...you just had to have been there. :)

Thursday Ramblings

Hmm, it took me a good 20 seconds to remember how to actually "post" a blog?!?! I was starting to get a little worried...haha! Ahhh, What a nice Thursday morning. I was able to drive my beast..aka my blazer this morning, for the first time alllll week. I have been driving Troys truck all week as well as pretty all LAST week too. :) His truck is 5 years newer than mine and mucho nicer. I compare them like this..his truck is like sitting in first class on a plane and mine isn't even coach..it's the luggage area. Yep..that is how I feel when driving it, riding in the luggage area of a plane.  :) ANYWAY..you are probably asking "Why aren't you driving your beast (aka, blazer) this week or last?"..well, it has been leaking some fluids-antifreeze and whatever else. Being that my truck is 8 almost 9 years old..I wasn't going to drive it and have it break down on me if I didn't have to. FINALLY, Troy (aka..my hubby) took it apart Tuesday night and seen the radiator was cracked AND the battery was dead. Ugh. Apparently i left a light on in my truck and it drained tha battery too. Luckily the battery was getting super old and I was in need of that soon anyway. So the radiator was fixed up yesterday and now she is running like new..umm, well kinda..she'll never be "new" again..but she runs reliably and nice now. :)  I already kinda miss driving troys truck. Its big..its a crew cab diesel Chevy. I feel like i'm on top of the world in that thing! haha! Funny story..when I've driven it to work..a few of the guys from 3rd shift have asked "Is THAT your truck"...I smile and say, YES, it sure is. They then comment.."Wow..nice truck" he he! I LOVE starting my morning that way. Plus..you get guys in general "checking you out" (umm, really most likely looking at the truck itself) as I drive it anywhere. I guess they normally aren't used to seeing a WOMAN driving that type of truck! he he! Again..what a great self esteem booster. :)

Not much has really been going on lately. This coming weekend is filled with busyness! Friday night is ladies night!! We are going to see a movie and to dinner. I seriously CAN'T wait! It'll be soo much fun and just nice to have girl time.  :)  Saturday we have a wedding to go to. That should be fun..i'm sure there will be some drinking..but i believe it is my turn to be the designated driver. Which is totally fine! I love seeing Troy let loose every now and then. It's such a "rare" thing for him.  :) Sunday we have a family reunion type of deal on my moms side. Not tooo awful excited, but it'll alright, i'm sure of it. I don't think Troy is that awful excited about it..hmm, actually I'm not sure if he even knows?

Sooo, 1 week from yesterday (Wednesday)..Deer Hunting opens! I am excited because Troy is SUPER excited AND that means I will have my evenings FREE for quite some time! You know what that means...ME time AND time to spend with my favorite people. 

Here is just some randoms

-I bought a Dr. Pepper this morning at 7:05 am. Yum..it's breakfast

-I just realized I get paid tomorrow. (every 2 weeks stinks)..

-I am totally ready to decorate for Christmas..just not ready for "christmas" per say..gifts etc. = tight on money..ugh

-I got up 10 minutes early today..but still got to work at the same time...hmm?

-I heard Joan Jett on my way to work the other day..i instinctively turned it up pretty loud and sang along! That was an absolute AWESOME way to start my day! haha..stop lauging at me!

Thoughts on a Tuesday

Wow..it has been extremely too long since my last post. Not to much has happened though...other than it seems like lots and lots of babies being born. :) YAY..who doesn't LOVE babies!! speaking of babies..my neice, Audri, is doing great. I absolutely love her more than I ever thought possible. My brother, Brett, and his girlfriend, Bekka, brought Audri to my dads house this past Sunday for her visit to "Grandpas" house. My aunt and uncle and cousin were able to come over and see her as well as myself. It was SOO much fun. I pretty hogged her the whole time. Dad held her a few times as did my Aunt..but I held her and played with her the majority of the time. Ooopps!! he he! Here are a few photos from the day..

Annnnnd last but not least..my new fav of her. Look at those toes! he he! She is just adorable. She did NOT like being uncovered for this photo either. I am pretty sure she expressed that right after this was taken.

So this past weekend was nice. Troy and I cooked yummy pasta Friday night and enjoyed a nice dinner. We then headed over to my moms to play some cards. My mom and step-dad and their 2 best friends have been playing cards every Friday and Saturday for over 15 years..seriously!! They used to play Euchre most of the time, but I don't how to play (Even though I watched for 10+ years and still didn't get it). Now that there are 6 of us, we play Uno, Draw 2, Dice and 25 (its like Skip-Bo). It is soo much fun. They usually go through almost a complete case of beers in a night (that is between 4 of them) and Troy usually takes 4 or so himself. I am 95% of the time the driver for going home, but every now and then Troy and I switch it up. All in all..always a fun time. Saturday was my cleaning day. All my other Saturdays had seemed to get away from me with having Volleyball tournaments or something going on. Soo, my house was in mucho need of cleaning! I worked on cleaning until 3:30 or so. Then took a shower and "got all cleaned up" and met my great friend, Sarah Hite, for supper. We hadn't seen each other in extremely too long and had lots to talk about. We enjoyed Hacienda and then went to Kohls for some shopping and of course to look at their cute baby clothes! (who doesn't look at baby clothes when at Kohls??)   :} I was home about 9:30 that night and Troy was out for the evening at the Frog as his cousin, Joel, had a bachelor party there that night. I was SOOO excited to have the house to myself..i watched a great "chic flick" called 'No Reservations'. Not gonna lie..it made me cry..a couple of times. All in all though, I really enjoyed the movie and absolutly enjoyed me time at home! I was in such desperate need of me time. Volleyball has come to an end and it was weird to have all this time..but still really hadn't had a lot of JUST ME time. I spent a lot of that week just getting back into a routine of sorts. I expected to go through some sort of "withdrawl" from volleyball as it seems to be such a habit to go to Monday night league and Thursday night Pond "league". I am soo happy to say..NO withdrawls! yay! \

Just a quick H-E-L-L-O! The last post was about my baby niece taking her sweet time coming into this world! Well, she is FINALLY here! As of last week Friday, August 29th 2008..Audrina Lynn Haines was born @ 4:17 a.m. She weighs 6 lbs and 10 ounces. She is 19" long! AND..SUPER DUPER CUTE! She gave us quite a scare to start with, but is 100% fine now! I lover her soooooooooooooooo much! I can't describe it! Here are a few quick pictures. More photos and blogging to come!

Today is Gonna Be the Day

Phew..where has the week went. I really hoped to be able to update this thing more often. I've just not known what to put exactly. Soo, today I blog quickly. Here is my day in a quick little nutshell. I get to help cover the phones in Customer Service today..yay. It's kinda fun to go back to my "ole stomping grounds" haha. It's just a nice change up for the day. I believe I'm going to be done working between 1 & 2 today, due to not being able to get over time and I currently have overtime. Sweet! What a way to end the work week!! Today is actually my brother's girlfriends due date! I had chosen yesterday to be the day that she would go into labor. I just "had a feeling" it would've been yesterday. Nope! I actually had a missed call last night at 8:55 pm from a number that I didn't know AND they had left a voicemail! I almost panicked..thinking that her mom had called me to let me know that she was in labor! I couldn't get to my voicemail fast enough..shoot, I had a hard time remembering my password. YIKES! BUT, it wasn't her...it was a girl I work with telling me she wouldn't be in to work today..hence, why i'm covering phones. Soo! Lets all say a prayer now that Bekka (my brothers sweet girlfriend) goes into labor this weekend. I CAN NOT wait to meet my new neice!!! She is going to be gorgeous..i just know it! Her mommy is adorable and her daddy isn't bad either. he he! 

Well thats about it for now. I have phones to answer starting at 8 am sharp! Soo, maybe Today is Gonna Be the Day...
